DRWF 25 Year Fundraising Ball with Pop 4 Diabetes
This year we are hosting a Fundraising Ball to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of DRWF. We are aiming to raise £20,000 to fund a Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation Pump Priming Award, a grant which will be awarded to one of our promising researchers.
We have teamed up with ‘Pop 4 Diabetes’, a family run organisation in Bournemouth, who have a personal connection with diabetes. Together, we will be delivering this exciting and wonderful event in November to celebrate 25 years of delivering support and research for people living with diabetes.

Location
Our fundraising ball will be held at the Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth, which has a glamourous ballroom which can seat over 200 guests. For people travelling to Bournemouth for the event, we have secured discounted rooms at Marsham Court and also at the neighbouring Holiday Inn - so why not stay the night and enjoy an extended evening with us.

What is a Pump Priming Award?
Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation annually welcomes applications for small project grants from researchers looking into causes, complications, treatment and prevention of all types of diabetes.
The purpose of these small project grants is to facilitate the collection of pilot data to support larger scale applications in the future.
